Fashion Week for Dolls: Days 4 and 5

Yesterday I mindlessly thought I had done my post but I actually didn’t. Oops! 😛

So today I am entering two categories.

Category 3: Modern Doll Clothes

A modern, summer play dress.

Category 4: Mix and Match

I’m not very good at mixing and matching but here is what I came up with:

Doll Glasses from Maggie S.
A blouse from the American Girl Riding Outfit (discontinued 2004)
A skirt made by me
no shoes 🙂

Another mix and match is Kirsten’s school dress with her birthday apron. Not my idea; I borrowed it. 🙂
That’s all for now! Need to get to work now. Rejoice in the Lord today! 😀

Fashion Week for Dolls: Day 3

Oops… Missed Day 2! :-S 🙂
Today I am posting my entry for Category 2: Look Alike.

I made this dress for a young friend of mine, and her doll. I also made another but haven’t gotten pictures of it yet.

I told about the making of this Look Alike outfit here.

Fashion Week for Dolls: Day 1

Today is the first day of Fashion Week for Dolls at Iradessa! I guess I could have saved yesterday’s post for one of these days….

Today I am entering for the first category:
Historical/Historically Inspired Doll Clothes
I sewed both of these dresses for Etsy but Rebecca and Kirsten modeled them for me. 🙂

Both are reflective of the late 1810’s, early 1820’s period. I based them off of the pattern for Josefina’s Christmas Dress but used the sleeves from Kirsten’s Birthday Dress for the white and purple outfit.
